No clue. The official site does have a (mostly blank) page advertising a BD/DVD release. It’d be awfully silly of them to release a 6-minute BD (if we assume that there are only 12 episodes), so I’d guess at least 2-cour.
In a somewhat related fashion, I’ve taken a second glance at ANN’s old Chiisana Ojisan announcement article, and I noticed that they mention an opening theme. All of the raws that I’ve seen so far don’t have any sort of opening theme, so maybe the BD/DVD release will include the opening theme, followed by, say, 26 episodes (13 minutes), and maybe an ending theme. That would make more sense, but again, there is so little information about this show that it’s hard to even take a guess at what they plan on doing.
Thanks for the reply, yeah I was thinking the same thing. Most 3 minute animes seem to get about 24/26 episodes, but considering this is only 30 seconds an episode it does seem silly to release a BD/DVD with such a short amount of media on. That said, Japan do like to take the piss when it comes with BD releases; sometimes only putting one episode on a disc…
