It looks like the “Season 2” I discussed in my previous post has finally been explained. According to the new promo art on the Sparrow’s Hotel website, Season 2 is the name they’re giving the second half of the series (Episodes 7-12), most likely due to the change in animation style. That’s a bit disappointing…

Disappointing indeed. The first season’s art and animation really tied in with the comedy, and gave it a nice charm; It’s what hooked me in. The new style just feels overdone.
